The First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell Wants Your Winter Coats and Sweaters

The First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell is holding a winter coat and sweater drive from now to October 23 and will accept gently used coats and sweaters at the church office at 326 Bloomfield Ave. in Caldwell.

The church will accept coats for men, women and children. The garments should be clean and free from rips and stains. It is preferred that the donated coats and sweaters be placed in plastic shopping or garbage bags.

It is the 17th year the church has held the drive. All of the donated coats and sweaters are given to St. John’s Church in Newark, which provides services for the needy, including a soup kitchen and medical care.
