Frances E. Garamella (nee Palma), 69, of Caldwell, passed away at home on Sunday, February 12, 2012.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Caldwell, NJ on Thursday, February 16, 2011 at 11 a.m. All other services are private. Arrangements in care of the , Caldwell, NJ.

Frances was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and moved to West Caldwell in 1955.

Mrs. Garamella was the matriarch of the family who loved and cared for her children and grandchildren. In her spare time, after raising six children and helping raise 10 grandchildren, she assisted her husband, Joe, with bookkeeping at his company, Grandview Service Center, North Caldwell, NJ.

She is survived by her beloved husband Joseph, Sr.; devoted children Joseph, Jr. and wife Terry; Gary, Dawn Marie Ruggiero, Michael and wife Caroline, Christine Krause and husband Gard, Lisa Barbarito and husband Edward; cherished grandchildren Nicole, Jessica, Jennifer, Brielle, Hunter, Joseph, Julia, Isabella, Michael and Ava; loving sisters Susan Giaimo and Loretta Kulig; dear sister-in-law Susan Rossi.

She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Irene Palma, and brother Andrew Palma.
