NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — Saturday was a long day for Jay Webber, but he still had time to stop in North Caldwell at the town’s annual picnic.

Webber, the Republican party’s candidate in New Jersey’s 11th District for the upcoming U.S. Congress election in November, went on a cross-county sojourn last weekend, visiting Randolph, Hanover and North Caldwell to speak with potential voters.

One of his stops? The 2018 North Caldwell Town Picnic, held on the first Saturday after Labor Day at the town pool.

“Thank you for the support,” Webber wrote.

This November, Webber will pit himself against his main opponent, Democratic nominee Mikie Sherrill, to see who will represent the state's 11th congressional district, which includes parts of Essex, Morris, Passaic and Sussex counties.
