The Curtain Rises Later This Week

James Caldwell High School Presents “Fiddler on the Roof” ,
James Caldwell High School is proud to present its annual spring musical theatre production. “Fiddler on the Roof”, taking place March 15, & 16 at 7:30 pm , March 17 at 6 pm and March 18 at 2 pm. at the Center for Performing Arts at James Caldwell High School at 265 Westville Ave., in West Caldwell.
Admission is $10 and tickets are available through https://www.showtix4u.com or at the door. For Thursday’s performance only, senior citizens are invited to pay just $5 per ticket.

“Fiddler on the Roof “, a family-friendly well-known classical musical that has been a blockbuster hit on both stage and screen- based on Sholem Aleichem’s stories by special permission of Arnold Perl. Book by Joseph Stein, Music by Jerry Bock. Lyrics by Sheldon Harnick

“JCHS ‘s version honors the original iconography, while still developing it’s own vision of the show; which respects the time period, locale, original production and the world we live in today.” - said Greg Paradis
Audiences will recognize classic songs in the JCHS production performed with the backdrop of a full live orchestra .
More than 30 students from the Caldwell/ West Caldwell area are participating in “Fiddler on the Roof ” through the cast, pit band/orchestra, and crew, including some elementary –aged students in grades 3 – 6.
This is a family friend production that explores ideas about family, tradition, oppression, and love. Enjoyable for all ages.
The Director is Greg Paradis, Music Directors are Greg Paradis and Daniel Mullens, Choreographer is Zakiya Atkinson .
