JCHS Scholarship Fund Committee Thanks the Community

This is an exciting time of year for the JCHS Scholarship Fund Committee and for JCHS seniors!

Each year the Committee awards scholarships that help JCHS seniors pursue their dreams through higher education. Last year, thanks to the strong support of the community, we awarded seven $1,500 scholarships, and we look forward to presenting new scholarships at the Senior Awards Ceremony on June 6th. Over the past 50 years, via the JCHS Scholarship Fund, the Caldwell-West Caldwell community has helped to give JCHS seniors nearly $300,000 in scholarships.

None of this would be possible without the support of a community that puts education first: corporate donors, merchants, vendors, and families who believe in the importance of our efforts. We thank those who supported our industrial campaign: Wefferling and Co. CPAs LLC, Maria Rampinelli, Douglas & Dorothy Rosa, Asian Arts Center, Visiting Angels/Marian Care, Judge & Mrs. Alfonse J. Cifelli, Lisa & Douglas Flint, Christopher Jones DDS, West Caldwell Animal Hospital, Jack’s Super Foodtown; as well as our platinum donors Rothenberg Orthodontics and James Heinegg & Maureen Prince. We would also like to thank Hair Designs by Flora for capping off 22 YEARS of fundraising efforts and Print Shack for handling our printing needs for many years.

There is still time and opportunity to help next year’s senior class: Our residential fundraising campaign is still underway and donation forms can be found on the CWCBOE website (www.cwcboe.org). All donations go directly to the JCHS Scholarship Fund. We appreciate the efforts of all who continue to support our endeavors. Thank you on behalf of the Committee and the students of this community!
