Mayor And Council Election To Be Held In Each Of The Caldwells

Caldwell, North Caldwell, and West Caldwell all have local elections in 2022, and ballot positions were to be drawn Thursday.

THE CALDWELLS, NJ — Three candidates in each of the Caldwells — Caldwell, North Caldwell, and West Caldwell — met last week's filing deadline to run for mayor and council. Ballot positions were to be drawn this Thursday.

For those who want to vote in a primary election in June, the deadline is Wednesday to declare or change your party affiliation. (An election deadline schedule is here.)

Borough of Caldwell

Democrat: Francis X. Rodgers

Republican: Garrett C. Jones

2 Council Seats (3 years)

Democrats: Frances DePalma-Iozzi and Jeffery Gates

Republicans: Kris Brown and Darren Daniolowicz

North Caldwell

Mayor (4-year position)

Democrat: Joshua H. Raymond

Republican: Joseph H. Alessi

Council (3 years)

Democrats: Stephen C. Weinstein, Arthur J. Rees

Republicans: Kenneth Tilton and Lara Schlachter

West Caldwell

Mayor (4-year position)

Republican: Joseph Tempesta Jr.

Council (3 years)

Republicans: Joseph P. Cecere, Stephen P. Wolsky
