N.J. Man’s Attempted Craigslist Heroin Deal Ends In Arrest: Police

Fairfield police allege that a Hoboken man tried to set up a heroin deal via an ad on Craigslist, a report says.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Authorities charged a Hoboken man with heroin possession and attempt to distribute after he allegedly tried to use Craigslist to sell drugs to an undercover cop earlier this week, a report says.

Fairfield police told NJ.com that William Renfro, 51, posted a Craigslist ad with a Hoboken location that read: “Super Fire Dogfood Dope - $60.”

“Get your chow here in this wealthy and hip location, this is not the hood. I am a white older man sharing this dog food with those tired of being beat and or going to the hood,” the post stated.
