Brad Greenbaum of West Caldwell is the 2016 recipient of the most prestigious award handed out by the New Jersey Association of Health Underwriters (NJAHU).

The NJAHU recognized Greenbaum’s achievements and ongoing commitment to the profession, naming him the recipient of the 2016 Louis G. Mattei Achievement Award.
Greenbaum was presented with the 23rd-annual award at the NJAHU’s annual conference in Atlantic City, flanked by previous winners who honored him for “tireless service, sacrifice and dedication.”

In accepting the award, Greenbaum said, he was honored to be part of such a prestigious group of professionals that has helped mold the NJAHU into a well-known voice of the health insurance industry. “I look forward to continuing to help provide answers as we move into the uncertain and ever-changing future of health care reform,” he said.

Over his years of involvement, Greenbaum has been one of the most active members of the NJAHU. Today he continues his activity with the annual Capital Conference in Washington DC and attendance at various chapter and state events.

“Brad is one of those dedicated people who has been a consistent resource for the NJAHU,” said NJAHU President Geneva Moody. “He is smart, hard-working and has such an incredible knowledge of the intricacies of health insurance. In this era of constant change in the market, Brad is a very special resource for NJAHU members.”

An active member of NJAHU for more than 23 years, Greenbaum has held every position in the North Chapter from Trustee to all the way to President. He also was Chairman of the NJAHU Health Insurance Association Political Action Committee 2004, 2005 and again in 2009.

Greenbaum serves as president of Altigro Benefit Services Inc. in Fairfield, NJ.
