North Caldwell Sees Water Main Break Amid Storm Fallout, Floods

As if county-wide flooding from Tropical Storm Ida wasn't enough, a water main break added insult to injury in North Caldwell on Thursday.

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — As if county-wide flooding from Tropical Storm Ida wasn’t enough, a water main break added insult to injury in North Caldwell on Thursday.

North Caldwell borough officials issued the following advisory at 2:31 p.m.:

“Please be advised of a water main break near the intersection of Cambridge Drive and Central Avenue. Area residents, including those on Park Avenue, Byron Road and Canterbury Road, may experience brief water outages and water discoloration during the emergency repairs. Further updates will be posted on the borough website at www.northcaldwell.org. Thank you for your patience during the repairs.”
