UPDATED: North Caldwell Traffic Closure On Mountain Avenue, Hours Changed

Mountain Avenue will be closed between East Greenbrook Rd. and Lindsley Road/Rt. 23 until Oct. 27, North Caldwell police say.

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — UPDATE: North Caldwell police announced Sunday that the hours of the road closure on Mountain Avenue have been changed to 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The closure is still expected to last until Friday, Oct. 27, police said. Our original article follows below.

Mountain Avenue will be closed between East Greenbrook Road and Lindsley Road/Rt. 23 until Oct. 27, the North Caldwell Police Department stated in a news release on Friday afternoon.

“Mountain Avenue will be closed between East Greenbrook Rd. and Lindsley Road/Route 23, through Friday, 10/27/17. We anticipate the closure to be in place between those hours until Friday the 27th. Please avoid Mountain Avenue and plan an alternate route through the Borough. A detour will be in place via East Greenbrook Road, to Grandview Avenue , to Lindsley Road, and the reverse route, depending on your direction of travel. Residents and school busses will have local access only. Mountain Avenue will be closed to all through traffic.”
