North, West Caldwell Cops Assist In Massive Prostitute and Pimp Bust
Police officers from Fairfield, North Caldwell, West Caldwell and Essex Fells Police Departments assisted in Operation Cross Country X.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Police officers from Fairfield, North Caldwell, West Caldwell and Essex Fells Police Departments were among the many local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to participate in Operation Cross Country X, a recent nationwide prostitution and pimp bust that resulted in 29 arrests in New Jersey.
According to a Fairfield Police Department statement, the above departments joined agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the New Jersey State Police and Essex and Hudson County Prosecutor’s Offices during the sting operation.
Multiple Essex County residents were arrested during the operation, authorities stated.

Operations took place in a number of New Jersey locations, including hotels, truck stops and street corners. Minors recovered during an arrest are engaged with state protective services and victim assistance, according to the FBI.
