Paving, Milling Work Continues In West Caldwell
Road construction work in West Caldwell is expected to last for several days, officials said.
WEST CALDWELL, NJ — Paving work in West Caldwell is expected to kick off Thursday and be finished by Tuesday, Oct. 12, officials say.
The West Caldwell Police Department issued the following advisory about the upcoming work:
“West Caldwell/ Caldwell residents: the following locations will be milled and paved between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. starting this week. The work is anticipated to be completed by October 12. Inclement weather will result in a delay of paving. Officers will be at the locations for traffic control.”

- Intersection of Ravine Ave and Westover Ave
- Park Terrace (from Caldwell Border to Westville Avenue)
- 91 & 93 Lane Avenue
- Sanford Avenue (Bloomfield Avenue to Clinton Road)

West Caldwell police noted that the work on Memorial Road will start at the Dillon Road intersection and should not affect Wilson School am or pm drop off or pick up times. Vehicles near the cul-de-sac, will have to be moved from the road at 9 a.m. The work should be completed and the road passable by 2 p.m.
