Second Annual Noelle’s Dream Walk!

On April 24, 2016 the tree tops of Brookdale Park were kissed with warm sunrays, the orchestra of New Jersey’s finest melodic birds was playing, and every flower and tree in sight was blossoming. The spring day was so perfect, it was almost as if an angel above was working alongside Mother Nature. And for the smiling crowd donned in green in the park that day, there certainly was. The first annual Noelle’s Dream had come to life.

Noelle Rossetto was an enthusiastic supporter of Rescue Haven Foundation (then known as The FernDog Rescue Foundation) and a Veterinary Technician for Verona & Montclair Animal Hospital. When an aggressive cancer took her young life much too soon, she left behind a legacy of caring for rescuing animals. “Noelle’s Dream” seeks to fulfill her vision of finding homes and love for all dogs in need, while enjoying nature and engaging in a fitness activity, two of Noelle’s passions.

The first annual Noelle’s Dream brought together over 50 dogs and 100 people for a pack walk through Brookdale Park. Over $3,500 was raised for the Rescue Haven Foundation medical fund, every penny of which went towards our adoptable dogs’ medical care.

The second annual Noelle’s Dream is scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 9:00AM at Brookdale Park in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Our goal is to surpass attendance and funds raised in Noelle’s honor. Tickets are on sale now at www.2ndnoellesdream.eventbrite.com, and are discounted if purchased in advance. Friendly, well-behaved dogs only, one handler per dog, and maximum leash length is 6 feet (no retractables).
