St. Barnabas Opens Blood Lab in Roseland

New blood-drawing site convenient to West Essex-area patients.

Saint Barnabas Medical Center now has an outpost in West Essex.

A new outpatient blood drawing site recently opened in Roseland in the Smith Medical Building at 189 Eagle Rock Ave. 

“We’ve opened the new blood drawing site for the convenience of those who access health care services in and around the Roseland area,” stated President and Chief Executive Officer of Saint Barnabas Medical Center Dr. John F. Bonamo.

According to Bonamo, “The new site is designed to provide a continuity of care and availability of medical records for those who are also patients at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston.”  

The hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Tuesday from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The blood-drawing site is staffed by trained phlebotomists and licensed by the New Jersey State Department of Health and Human Services. It provides full blood-drawing services and urinalysis. Most insurance plans are accepted and appointments are not necessary.
