Thunderstorms And Heavy Rain Possible For Caldwells Friday: Find Out When, How Much
The National Weather Service says the area may get thunderstorms and up to an inch of rain Friday, about a sixth of what Ida dumped.

THE CALDWELLS, NJ —Weather-wary Essex County residents may want to keep an eye on the forecast for Friday morning. The forecast calls for possible thunderstorms and "heavy rainfall" before 2 p.m., but there was no flood watch in effect for the area as of this writing.

The prediction is that the area may get .75 inches to 1 inch of rain on Friday. For comparison's sake, parts of Essex County received 6 to 9 inches of rain quickly during Hurricane Ida in September.
