Traffic Detoured In North Caldwell Due To Emergency Water Repair
An emergency water valve repair in North Caldwell caused a traffic detour and may force a water outage of 2-4 hours.
NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — Traffic in part of North Caldwell was detoured, and some residents may lose water pressure, on Tuesday afternoon, after the town began working on an emergency water valve repair.
The water outage could last 2-4 hours, the town said in a message to residents at 1:17 p.m.
Also, northbound traffic on Mountain Avenue was being detoured. The southbound lane stayed open.

Repairs were taking place between Pine Place and Falcon Point Drive.
"We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience," the town said. "Please contact the Water Department at 973-228-6410, x-103 with any questions."
