Unique Photo To Host Holiday Pet Portraits with Santa to Benefit Homeless Animals on Nov. 20

All Proceeds will Benefit Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter

Unique Photo, New Jersey’s largest retail camera store and center for photography education, will kick off the holiday season with pet portraits with Santa on Sunday, November 20 at their 123 US Hwy 46 superstore. All proceeds will benefit the homeless pets cared for by Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter in East Hanover.

The holiday pet photo event will be designed specifically for dogs and cats. A $25 donation per pet for the sitting fee with professional pet photographer Andrew Darlow will include one matted 5-inch X 7-inch print, two duplicate prints and a high resolution digital file. Participants will have their high quality photographs printed on-site at Unique’s professional photo lab. Additional photos may be ordered.

“Pets are cherished family members and we’re excited to offer this opportunity to include them in the festivities this year while helping homeless pets at the same time,” said President Alexander Sweetwood,” third-generation member of the Sweetwood family to head the retail camera superstore.

Andrew Darlow is a professional photographer and author whose work has been featured in numerous publications. He has also authored the dog photo book, Biscuit for Your Thoughts? Signed copies of the book will be available for sale with additional proceeds benefiting Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter.

Additionally, the first 50 people to visit Mt. Pleasant representatives and their pets for adoption on November 20 will receive one of Darlow’s hand-signed dog art prints.

Reservations are limited and can be made online by visiting www.uniquephoto.com or by calling 973-377-6454. Fifteen-minute sittings for single pets may be scheduled between 11:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. All pets should be on a leash or in a secure carrier, up-to-date with vaccines, and friendly with other animals and people.
