University Women (UWWE) Welcomes New Members

The University Women of West Essex (UWWE) held its first meeting of the 2018/2019 year on Thursday, September 27th during a dinner at LaFamiglia in Caldwell. New members were welcomed at the event, and many of its 80 members attended the dinner. The awarding of scholarships to deserving women is the central aim of UWWE. They present scholarships to area high school students, as well as to mature women returning to college. The organization also enjoys friendship, fun and life long learning through regular meetings, mahjong, bridge, book groups and theater outings.
