Volunteer Lawyers for Justice Sponsoring Anti-Bullying Fund-Raiser

VLJ's Generation Now Young Professionals Group is sponsoring the fund-raiser, a poolside soiree, on Wednesday, June 8, from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Bullying strikes the most vulnerable members of society, and often leaves children and their parents feeling they have nowhere to turn.

Volunteer Lawyers for Justice (VLJ) comes to the aid of these children and, to that end, is hosting an event to raise funds for anti-bullying litigation. Typically, VLJ pulls together a team of lawyers and expert witnesses, such as those specializing in youth, school and family violence, who work toward a resolution on behalf of the parents.

VLJ’s Generation Now Young Professionals Group is sponsoring the fund-raiser, a poolside soiree, on Wednesday, June 8, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Essex Fells Country Club, 219 Devon Road, Essex Fells (rain or shine).

The fund-raiser will feature a BBQ, beer, wine and a DJ. The cost is $90. Sponsorship opportunities also available. To register, go to https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=E151548&id=19 or call
(973) 233-4292. Generation Now welcomes young professionals interested in supporting VLJ, who enjoy networking and fundraising events.

VLJ, based in Newark and Montclair, has been providing legal services to low-income individuals and families for 15 years.
