Water Main Break In North Caldwell: Low Pressure, Discoloration
Here's what to know about Friday's water main break in North Caldwell.
NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — A water main break took place in North Caldwell on Friday, leaving some residents with low pressure and possible shutoffs until repairs can be made, authorities said.
The Borough of North Caldwell issued the following advisory at 11:14 a.m.:
“The Department of Public Works is actively repairing a water main break on Tanglewood Road. Water service will incur low pressure and may be shut off for a portion of the repair duration. Water service should be restored within a few hours. Residents in the area can expect discoloration once water service is restored; run faucets until water runs clear.”
“Thank you in advance for your patience as repairs are made,” officials added.

Friday’s water woes in North Caldwell were the second main break to happen in the Caldwells in as many days. A break in Caldwell temporarily caused some headaches for residents on Thursday.
