Water Main Break In West Caldwell Shuts Off Service On Wednesday Morning
The West Caldwell Water Department reported to the scene of a 12-inch break at the Westcourt apartment complex on Bloomfield Avenue.
A water main break shut off water service in West Caldwell early on Wednesday morning in the area of the Westcourt apartment complex on Bloomfield Avenue.
According to West Caldwell police, around 1:45 a.m., the municipal water department reported to the scene of a 12-inch water main break running between 551-585 Bloomfield Ave.
“At this time residents in the area are expected to see minimal to no water pressure/service on streets surrounding this complex,” police stated via a Nixle alert. “There are no road/lane closures at time as well.”

“The West Caldwell Police Department is aware of the situation and as soon as we are informed that repairs are completed we will send another advisory out,” police stated. “Please do not call the police station to inquiry on the status of this condition unless other issues arise during this time period pertaining to water service.”
