Water Maintenance Work In North Caldwell Will Last 2 Weeks
The North Caldwell Water Department will be exercising valves, part of the borough's routine maintenance of the water system.
NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — The North Caldwell Water Department will be conducting routine maintenance over the next two weeks, officials announced Wednesday.
According to a municipal advisory:
“As part of the borough’s routine maintenance of the water distribution system, the water department will be exercising existing water valves for the next two weeks. This simply includes the opening and closing of existing in-line valves that otherwise always remain in an open position. This maintenance will be performed in a manner that will not impact the water service to any residents. This maintenance is particularly important to keep the system operating optimally and ensure the borough's ability to respond to unplanned emergencies.”
