West Caldwell Company Gets $29M Tax Break To Expand To Paterson
A West Caldwell-based vitamin manufacturer, one of the largest companies in the industry, will expand operations to Paterson, reports say.

WEST CALDWELL, NJ — A West Caldwell-based vitamin manufacturer, one of the largest companies in the industry, will be moving to Paterson instead of New York for a $29.4 million tax break, reports say.
On Tuesday, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority approved the multi-million, 10-year “Grow New Jersey” award to Vitaquest International – currently located on Henderson Drive in West Caldwell - to move its manufacturing operations and 110 employees to Paterson instead of Rochester, New York.
The company plans to transfer the 110 jobs to its new Paterson facility and create an extra 100 full-time positions at a nearly 80,000-square-foot proposed site at 99 Fifth Avenue. EDA officials claimed that the project will yield a net benefit of $19.5 million back to the state over a period of 30 years.
