West Caldwell Cops Seek Car Thief, Ask Locals For Video Footage

West Caldwell police are asking local residents for surveillance footage of a car theft and vehicle burglaries.

WEST CALDWELL, NJ — West Caldwell police are asking local residents for video surveillance footage of an alleged car theft and vehicle burglaries that took place on Wednesday morning.

The West Caldwell Police Department issued the following advisory on Jan. 2:

“At approximately 5 a.m. this morning a vehicle was stolen from McKinley Avenue in our town. (White, 2019 Durango) Several vehicles were also entered and burglarized. We are requesting assistance with obtaining any video (3 to 6 a.m.) in the area that may show the suspects or suspicious vehicles. PLEASE lock your vehicles and NEVER leave the keys or key fobs in your vehicles. PLEASE don't leave your vehicles running in your driveways, or when you run into the convenience store.”
