WEST CALDWELL, NJ — The West Caldwell Police Department recently earned a nod of recognition for its efforts in keeping the community traveling in safety.

Last month, the Traffic Officers Association of Essex County (TOAEC), along with event sponsor AAA Northeast, recognized several local police departments – including the West Caldwell PD – for their efforts in promoting traffic safety in their respective communities.

The annual TOAEC traffic safety award is presented to individuals or organizations which go above and beyond to serve their community and promote traffic safety, police stated.
