West Essex Memorial Day Parade: West Caldwell Police Give Update

WEST CALDWELL, NJ — The Annual West Essex Memorial Day Parade has been scheduled for Monday, May 30. Step-off is 9:30 a.m. The West Caldwell police gave an update on it Sunday night.

"The parade line of march continues 1 mile along Bloomfield Avenue and concludes with a Memorial Day ceremony at Crane Park in West Caldwell," the police said in a message. "Bloomfield Avenue will be closed from Forest Avenue to Passaic Avenue starting at 8 a.m. to approximately 11:30 a.m."

In Caldwell, meanwhile, the police said in a message over the weekend: "On Tuesday morning the 31st, there will be an early morning trash pickup. Please note that the early pickup has been approved by the Borough due to the Memorial Day parade and long weekend."
