White Prevails in Powder Puff Game

James Caldwell High School senior girls compete in annual touch football game.

James Caldwell High School’s annual Powder Puff Football game was played at Bonnel Field on Friday, June 1.

The senior girls competed against each other in a touch football game with many friends and family members cheering them on. The white and blue teams were coached by senior boys.

The white team came ready to play and dominated the game, winning by a score of 25-0. The girls used nicknames on the field. The white team had Nate Dog, M Cubed, Murr and Lewch, while the blue side had Mother Goose, Captain Fuub and Lola.

Referees for the game were Al Curtiss and Dan Romano. Senior boys Mike Aliotta and Eric Barsanti announced the game, while Mike “Carney” Carnevale controlled the scoreboard. 

A 50/50 raffle was held and water and snacks were sold to raise money for Project Graduation.
