Woman Robbed On Caldwell University Campus, Police Seek Suspect

CALDWELL, NJ — Caldwell police are seeking the public’s help locating a man who allegedly robbed a woman late Tuesday night in a wooded area on the Caldwell University campus.

According to the Caldwell Police Department, a female reported that around 11:15 p.m. on Sept. 20, an unknown man approached her and demanded that she hand over her wallet. Once the victim surrendered the wallet, the man fled the area on foot, she told police.

The victim described the suspect as a Hispanic male in his late 20s, about 5 feet 6 inches, and wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, black pants, sunglasses and possibly gloves. [See police composite sketch]
