• Poop Patrol: Califon Council Approves New Signs Reminding People to Pick Up After their Dog (tapinto.net) — New signs are coming to Califon Island Park after Borough Council voted to reinforce laws requiring dogs to be leashed and waste to be picked up. Officials and volunteers say the move follows repeated problems during recent park events and hope clearer rules, plus possible enforcement by Washington Township police, will keep the park cleaner and safer for families.
