• Rebecca Ellen 'Becky' Nelson 1957-2026 (fcfreepresspa.com) — Family and friends in Carneys Point are mourning Rebecca “Becky” Nelson, whose sister and brother live in the township and surrounding Pennsville area. The longtime federal corrections officer at FCI Fairton, New Jersey, died May 11 in Gettysburg at age 68, and her family is inviting online condolences and memorial flower orders instead of holding public services.
