• Police Upgrade Response To Mental Health Crises (myveronanj.com) — Police in Verona and nearby towns, including Cedar Grove, are joining New Jersey's ARRIVE Together program, which pairs mental health clinicians with officers on crisis calls. The move aims to reduce violent encounters and connect residents to treatment, with clinicians dispatched across West Essex and based at Verona's Community Center. Cedar Grove residents may see clinicians responding alongside or after police on certain calls.
