16th Annual Charity Bocce Invitational “Tournament to Wellness” to Benefit Madison Area YMCA Paths to Wellness Programming

Tournament starts September 11 and continues through mid October

The 16th Annual Madison Area YMCA Charity Bocce Invitational “Tournament to Wellness,” presented by Investors Bank for the fifth year, begins Monday, September 11, and continues through the middle of October.

Hosted by the Forum Club and the Toto family, the event will raise funds for the Madison Area YMCA’s Paths to Wellness programming that include LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a 12-week no fee wellness program for cancer survivors and their families, Diabetes Prevention Program, Community Mental Health Initiative, Enhance Fitness, One Step, Delay the Disease and Project Community Pride of the Madison Area YMCA. Organizers are actively seeking event and team sponsorships. Last year, the event raised more than $30,000 for the Y’s Paths to Wellness Programs.

“We are looking forward to another great Bocce season with the community,” said Madison Area YMCA Volunteer and Special Events Manager Melissa DeSalvo. “As the health and wellness needs of our community continue to grow and change, we remain committed to providing no fee opportunities for people to achieve their goals.”
