Seyn Ilik tells the Patch about Grillera's Mediterranean selection and the best piece of business advice he has ever received.

Owner of Grillera Mediterranean Cuisine, Seyn Ilik, explains how he became involved in the restaurant industry and his favorite part about doing business in the Madison area.

Patch: How did you get involved in the restaurant industry?

Seyn: My upbringing was in restaurants, and it was inevitable that I would create my own.

Patch: Can you please tell us a little about Grillera’s philosophy?

Seyn: Our philosophy is two-fold: to provide our customers with the most special Mediterranean dining experience possible using both our food and our customer service. We want to make you feel like you are dining in the beautiful Mediterranean region.

Patch: Can you give us a little background or overview on Mediterranean cuisine?

Seyn: Mediterranean cuisine is food from cultures from around the mediterranean sea. The diet is focused on health. The dishes are made as healthy as possible; we serve vegetables, fresh spices, with the highest quality meats -- to ensure a complete experience.

Patch: What’s the best part about doing business in your town?

Seyn: I believe that our food and experience are perfect for the expectations of the town. We really wanted to introduce Mediterranean Cuisine to the Madison community.

Patch: What is your favorite dish on the menu?

Seyn: The vegetable dish is spectacular. It is a great mixture of everything.

Seyn: At Grillera, you are not just our customers, you are our guests, our family, and we will treat you with the respect that you deserve as our guests.

Patch: How large is the restaurant and do you offer catering or private dining?

Seyn: Grillera seats about 150 people, in our dining space. We also have private catering and dining.

Patch: What is the best piece of business advice you have ever received and who gave it to you?

Seyn: The best piece of advice I was ever given was simple, “the customer is always right”.

Seyn: Everything is fresh, from our vegetables to our spices. It is an experience that you cannot get anywhere else.
