5 GOP Candidates Vying for 3 Chatham Seats Answer Questions Tuesday
League of Women Voters to host two-hour event at library beginning at 7 p.m.

The June Primary Election is just around the corner, and candidates in Chatham Borough and Chatham Township have a lot at stake.
On Tuesday night at the Library of the Chathams, five Republican candidates vying for three different seats in the two towns will have an opportunity to speak with the public and answer questions while seeking votes.
From 7 to 7:45 p.m., newcomers Patrick Carroll, Peter Hoffman, and Leonard Resto will address questions and topics moderated by Louise Murray of the League of Women Voters, the organizing group behind Tuesday night’s forum.

All three men are vying for two open seats on the Chatham Borough council, currently occupied by incumbents John Holman and Alida Kass. Neither incumbent is running for re-election.
From 8 to 8:45 p.m., Chatham Township committeeman and current mayor Kevin Sullivan will answer questions alongside his opponent, Kathy Abbott.

The event will include opening and closing statements by all candidates as well as candidate responses to questions from the audience.
The event is free and open to the public at 214 Main Street in Chatham.
