Abbott Gained 565 Write-In Votes In The 2014 Election

Former Chatham Township Committee Woman Kathy Abbott gained 565 in a late write-in campaign for a three-year term on the committee in this year’s general election, but was ultimately defeated.

Michael Kelly and Karen Swartz were elected to three-year terms - Kelly received 2,123 votes while Swartz received 1,834 votes, according to The Chatham Courier.
