The Chatham fencers battled over 250 competitors from area schools such as Millburn, Governor Livingston, Newark Academy, Oak Knoll and West Windsor-Plainsboro and walked away with four medals.
Hunter Stusnick placed second in sophomore men's epee, JC Perrin placed third in sophomore men's saber, Kyle Sullivan placed second in freshman men's sabre and Elaina Clougherty took second in sophomore women's saber. Not receiving medals, but making it to the advanced elimination rounds were Justin Hsu (sixth in freshman women's epee) and Colby Browning-Doorn (fifth in freshman men's epee).
This is only the second year that the team has been in existence and they hope to continue to build on their success next year.
