For the second year in a row, the Chatham United U14 Lasers travel soccer team kicked off their fall season by winning their flight of the Essex Fall Tune-up Tournament in West Orange/Livingston on September 8-9.

On Sunday morning, the Lasers took the field against the Cougar SC Flames in a decisive 3-1 victory.  The final game of the day against a well-matched Viking FC Lady Vikings team ended in a 1-1 draw.  This time the Lasers were on the winning end of the penalty kick shootout to take home the trophy.

The Lasers begin regular season play in the Morris County Youth Soccer league on Sept. 18.
