Don't You Just Love Spring?

Mother Nature doesn't seem to know what she wants to do these days with the wide variety of temperatures, but my kids certainly do.

They want to be outside; picking daffodils, digging in the dirt, and endlessly swinging on the swings.

The forsythia have burst into blaze and puffs of flowering trees beckon us all to step outdoors and breathe. 

There is something so wonderfully promising and exciting about Spring. The chirping birds, buds and sweet air are utterly intoxicating. 

The flurry of outdoor catalogs arriving in the mail daily make me itch to refinish the deck, dust off the outdoor chair cushions, and dump everything in my closets.

I even have made a few glorious trips to The Farm with beautiful mom/child creations of pansy and strawberry planters as a result.

We many not have had a super long and depressing winter this year but nevertheless it seems we are always thrilled to see spring emerge in Chatham.

Think of all that is to come in the coming months ... don't you just love Spring?
