Wireless Towers to be Installed Soon Near Southern Blvd. School

Last Thursday, May 31, I received a notice from a Lawyer from AT&T, Cingular and T-Mobile about constructing a 150-foot tower with 15 antennas right behind the municipal building and near the playground and ball field. This is not far from my home at 48 Meyersville Road. I attended a meeting and realized that this is a done deal and no turning back. It was already approved. At the meeting they talked about another set of towers going up near Southern Boulevard School. That meeting will be in a few weeks. If you live in the next stage area I would attend the meeting and maybe ask your elected officials why this has been kept such a secret. They have been working on this project for over a year.

I believe that residents should have heard about this from the Chatham Township and not some attorney for the phone companies.
