Chatham To Appoint Lieutenant, Supplement Smoking Policy Thursday

The Township Committee also has an NJDOT grant application in the works.

CHATHAM, NJ - The Chatham Township Committee is set to appoint a new lieutenant in their police department and supplement their prohibition on smoking on public property on Thursday, Sept. 27. According to their agenda, the governing body will also be taking up an New Jersey Department of Transportation grant application.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at Town Hall, located at 58 Meyersville Road and begins at 7:30 p.m. The meeting is open to the public. This meeting is an opportunity for any member of the public to be heard about issues which are not topics scheduled for Public Hearings. To help facilitate an orderly meeting, and to permit all to be heard, speakers are asked to limit their comments to three minutes.
