Chatham Baseball Falls to Madison 9-7

Despite early lead, Cougars can't hold on.

The Chatham High School baseball team dropped a tough one to Madison High, 9-7, on Friday in Madison.

IN SHORT
With Chatham leading 6-1 heading into the bottom of the fourth inning, the Madison bats came alive to the tune of three runs in both the fourth and fifth innings, giving them a 7-6 lead. Madison would add another two runs in the sixth, and despite a Chatham rally in the seventh, the Cougars dropped their third game of the season.
