Boys Basketball's Season Comes to End in States

Plainfield defense proves tough as Cougars fall in sectional tournament.

The boys basketball team saw its season come to an end on Tuesday night, falling to Plainfield, 67-41, in the North 2, Group III state sectional tournament.

Jonathan Berntsen led the Cougars with 11 points, scoring on a trio of 3-pointers and two free throws. 

Brendan Damodaran was close behind with 10 points, and Brian Ballard added eight.
