Chatham boys lose tough game in bottom of 6th to Jacksonville Crusaders

After getting to bed after midnight, the U12 Chatham team were able to sleep in today and get ready for their final two games in the pool play part of the Tournament.  First up were the Jacksonville Crusaders.  Chatham put two runs up early as Nick Vivona drove in both Ben Gorski and  Michael Jesse.  Brian Cook went 2-2 at the plate with Zach Hoban, Tim Fell and Jesse also knocking in runs.  Colin Pierce, Elijah Schwinghammer and Brendan Maguire were standouts in the field.  The Crusaders never gave up despite putting up 6 errors and broke the 6-6 tie in the bottom of the sixth inning.   Jesse, Matt Connolly and Drew Dinnhaupt pitched in the loss.  We are going to hit the pool and rest up for our game tonight against The Irish Black of Ohio.  Wish us luck from Cougarland!
