Chatham Church Chips In For Hurricane Relief

Residents are being asked to 'fill a bucket' to help victims of Hurricane Florence.

CHATHAM, NJ - The Chatham United Methodist Church are asking for help in assisting victims of Hurricane Florence by providing 5-gallon buckets to be filled and returned for donation.

According to its Facebook page, the Chatham UMC will be at the Chatham Borough Farmers' Market this Saturday at 9:00 a.m. with flood buckets for all to take, fill, and return to the church at 460 Main Street so that they may give aid to those affected by Hurricane Florence.

The Farmers' Market is located at 54 Fairmount Ave. and is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Each empty bucket will come with a list and the filled buckets will be delivered to the United Methodist Committee On Relief.
