Chatham Church Hosts Refugee Storyteller Sunday

Duha Katbi will share her journey from Syria on Sunday.

CHATHAM, NJ - A refugee's harrowing tale of leaving her home in Syria and traveling to United States will be shared at the Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township on Sunday.

Duha Katbi will share her very personal story of the circumstances that forced her to leave her beloved home and the years-long journey she and her family endured as they traveled from Syria to America in pursuit of freedom.

Katbi and her family were assisted by RAMP (Refugee Assistance Morris Partners), a nonprofit coalition of faith-based organizations dedicated to helping families from Middle Eastern refugee camps transition to productive lives in Morris County.
