Chatham Election Debates Coming Up Soon
Candidates in three races in the Borough and Township will debate before the election.

CHATHAM, NJ — The Morristown Area League of Women Voters is sponsoring three debates for local governing bodies in the Chathams before the November general election.
The Township Committee debate will be held on Oct. 24 at the township municipal building. Democrat Salil Sheth and Republican Tayfun Selen are running in a special election after a committee member moved out of district earlier this month. There is also a general election.
The Borough Council debate will be held on Oct. 26 at Borough Hall. Two Democrats, Thaddeus Kobylarz and Jonathan Wilcox, are running against Robert Weber and Thomas Coffey, Republicans, for two open seats.

The School District Of The Chathams Board Of Education debate will take place on Oct. 30 in the Chatham High School media center. Five candidates are running for three seats.
All debates begin at 7:30 p.m. (doors are at 7 p.m.).
