“We were pleased to present a check for $10,000 to the Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department to support their purchase of a state-of-the-art thermal imaging camera (TIC)," Ritter said. "TICs are used on just about every call, from identifying hot spots within a home's walls to searching for ejected motor vehicle accident occupants. Put simply, they are critical to their operations. We thank everyone again who came out to support the Chatham Turkey Trot this year.“
The Chatham Turkey Trot has become a family holiday tradition representing all that is great about the Chatham Township community, officials said. Each year it continues to grow as the Chatham community comes together to give thanks for all that we have and to raise funds for those dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of others, they noted.
