Chatham Firefighter Hose Down Pond Club (Photos)
Annual visit provided local children a unique way to cool off.
CHATHAM, NJ - Last week during the height of the hot the weather the Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department stopped by the Noe Pond Club for their annual visit.
"We showed the kids our truck and equipment and told them all about what we do in town," fire officials said. "Since it was such a hot day, we couldn’t help but flow some water to help the kids cool off."
Officials noted that they are always looking for men and women to join their family and that those interested should email membership@ctfd.org.
