Chatham High School Presents You Can’t Take It With You

The CHS Theatre Department's fall comedy promises laughter and entertainment.

On November 18 - 19, the Chatham High School Theatre Department will present the beloved comedy, You Can’t Take It With You by George S. Kaufman. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m.

Winner of the 1937 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, You Can’t Take it With You focuses on the wacky life of the Sycamore family in New York City. CHS Director, Laura Russo, puts a contemporary spin on this timeless look at love, family, and values. This entertaining tale will remind the audience the importance of having a little fun.

Local senior citizens are invited to the final dress rehearsal on Thursday, November 17 at 3:30 p.m. at the CHS auditorium. Immediately following the performance, seniors are invited to stay for a complimentary dinner. Seating for the dress rehearsal is unrestricted, however, dinner reservations are limited to 80. Tickets are $12.00 or $10.00 with a Chatham student I.D. $12 tickets can be purchased in advance online at http://chsyoucanttakeitwithyou.brownpapertickets.com/ starting Monday, November 7.
