Chatham Library one of 200 Libraries to Participate in Indie Author Day

The event will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8.

CHATHAM, NJ — Chatham Library is one of over 200 libraries across North America participating in the first ever, nationwide event Indie Author Day. Authors of all levels of experience are invited to celebrate their love of writing, learn from professionals, and collaborate with one another at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8.

Chatham residents will meet in the Lundt Meeting Room for an hour-long webcast with all other participating libraries. Writers, reviewers, agents, and industry leaders will provide guidance for authors of all levels of experience throughout the webinar.

Following the presentation, any Chatham residents in attendance can read from their works and/or discuss their writing. This is a perfect chance for writers to share ideas, make connections with other authors, and practice reading their work out loud to an audience.
